Frequently asked questions
You probably have some questions.
That makes sense. I’m glad you’re here.

If you're searching for support after betrayal, look for a therapist who specifically works with infidelity and relational trauma, not just general couples or individual counseling. I offer virtual therapy across Texas from my Frisco-based practice, so you can work with a specialist in this area no matter where in the state you're located.
-
Yes. Virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions for processing betrayal trauma, especially for the kind of reflective, ongoing work healing after an affair requires. Many clients find it easier to be open and present from a familiar, private space, and it removes the added stress of commuting during an already difficult time.
-
There's no required waiting period; you can reach out whenever you're ready, even in the first days after discovery. Some people start therapy immediately for support through the shock, while others wait until they've had some time to process on their own. Either way is okay, and starting later doesn't mean you've missed a window.
-
I currently offer virtual therapy sessions for clients in Frisco and across Texas. This allows for flexibility, privacy, and consistency no matter where you are.

I work with individuals navigating betrayal trauma, infidelity, divorce, emotional disconnection, identity loss, anxiety and depression. If you’re feeling confused, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you are in the middle of all of this, you’re in the right place.
-
Sessions with me are both reflective and practical. We will take time to understand what happened, but we will also work in a structured, step-by-step way that is customized to your situation. That may include identifying patterns, clarifying what feels most urgent, building coping tools, and helping you take grounded next steps. I’m not just there to listen. I’m actively guiding the process so you leave with more clarity, direction, and a better sense of how to move forward.
-
My primary focus is individual work. In some cases, I may incorporate relational dynamics into sessions, but the work always centers on you and your experience.
-
There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some clients come for short-term support during a specific transition, while others choose to stay longer for deeper work. We move at a pace that is aligned with your needs and goals.
-
You don’t need to have that answer before starting therapy. We will work through this in a thoughtful, structured way, exploring your experience, your patterns, and what matters most to you, so you can make decisions that feel clear, grounded, and aligned with who you are.
-
I currently do not accept insurance; however, I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement depending on your plan.
-
Session rates begin at $150/hr and are discussed during consultation so you have full clarity before starting. I also offer a limited number of need-based sliding scale spots, based on availability.
